Apollo 14 Astronaut Claims Aliens Exist

Is a worldwide government cover-up finally breaking open?

Consider that England has been inundated with unexplained lights flying in strange formations and moving in weird ways. The US has had mass sightings like the one images.jpegrecently in Stephenville, Texas (witness’ drawing on your left), which was just reinforced by the radar reports of that night. Released under the Freedom of Information Act, they show a large object with no transponders moving at incredible speeds and making unfathomable turns. One took it close to George W. Bush’s ranch in Crawford.

Mystery fireball streaks across sky

images-1.jpgThere are many witnesses but no explanation. At about 10:20 am this morning, hundreds of witnesses report having seen a mysterious object as “big as a house” speeding towards the ground in the Los Angeles area. No aircraft are reported missing and fire crews could find no impact area. Some described the ball of light as “prism” colored and moving very, very fast.

What do you think the object was?

Whoa! Lake Be Gone

39837415.jpgChicagoans will have to find another place to escape the city turmoil, as recent rains literally swept away an entire 267 acre lake that was a popular weekend destination.

ALIENS EXIST!

alien_280_497153a.jpgThat’s what the headlines of today’s The Sun told me. UFO enthusiast Jeff Peckman is to release footage today to the media proving once and for all that aliens do really exist. However, he will not release it to the public until his documentary about aliens is released.

One interesting detail is that the camera used to capture the alien looking through a window is an infrared camera. Within the UFO circles there has been much speculation about UFO’s not usually being visible to the human eye except though the infrared spectrum. This would explain why we don’t usually see them and would suggest they are always around but “invisible” to us. Some wonder if people do occasionally see them because of a malfunction in equipment or because they “want” someone to view them.

Stay tuned for more alien breaking news! I’ll make sure to post the press reaction, so check back! What do you think, Offsprungers? What will the video show?

What the f*** is that?

The internets are abuzz this morning over a strange white object that the Mars Rover captured on the horizon while panning the Mars landscape. Giggling news broadcasters interviewed scientists this morning who assure us it’s just a long, cylindrical white rock. Some folks claim it might be part of the rover’s outer shell that broke off while the rover was entering the atmosphere. However, other sites have claimed that the shell and parachute have already been identified in another location. For more info and photos on this Mars mission, go the University of Arizona’s site.

So Offsprungers, what is it?!

Giant Flying Oyster Expels Load

95137.jpgWas it a UFO sighting, or a secret military drone test?

spheredecaturpearlheadline.jpgOn Friday, April 25th, dozens of people witnessed the crash of an object near Decatur, Alabama. Emergency crews responded, including, according to witnesses, several fire trucks, med-vac helicopters, 4 black helicopters, police, and paramedics. One witness thought he witnessed a plane crash, except that it made no sound when it hit the ground near the town recreational center.

Crop Circles are Back!

waden-hill-avebury09.jpgIt’s my favorite time of year! Crop Circles–those crazy, mysterious, enormous patterns that appear out of nowhere in the British countryside–have returned. The first one of the 2008 season may be viewed to your left. Did you know that crop circles are reported around the world, not just in Britain, and have been reported for hundreds of years? None are more beautiful, however, than the many that will appear in England from now until August when the crops are harvested.

So long, and thanks for all the lox.

There won’t be any deals this year on wild caught salmon. The run of chinook salmon in the Sacramento river this year was second smallest in recorded history, and officials will probably ban the fishing of these delicious, delicious fish along the entire West Coast. So if you want to grill up a salmon steak or two this summer, be prepared to pay upwards of $30/pound.

Even if all fishing of this species is halted, it will take years for the population to bounce back. But scientists aren’t even sure the salmon will come back, because the spawning grounds are increasingly inhospitable to the homesick fishies. Just for fun, let’s count the ways we’re killing off the salmon! (More after the jump…)

The Chemicals in Your Kid’s Pee…

peeingstatues.jpg…can be completely eliminated from their urine within 36 hrs if you switch to organic food. I suppose many people still don’t believe that eating non-organic, conventionally grown food actually leads to an ingestion of dangerous chemicals used in pesticides (malathion and chlorpyrifos). Chensheng Lu, the principal author of a new study and a professor at Emory University shows that when children are switched from conventional foods to organic, the presence of pesticides  is eliminated from their bodily fluids within 8-36 hours.
