I'll be on until at least midnight East Coast time as long as there is someone to talk to ... that should get you lazy West Coast folks time to get the kids to bed to carry on!

I love socializing when I don't have to clean the bathroom first!

Yay! Got to break out the blender. Margaritas or milk shakes.

For those of you who haven't tried one of these cocktail parties here are some tips:

1. BYOB - it doesn't have to be alcoholic, but break out something fun so it adds to the party feel

2. No talking about kids but ANYTHING else is fair game

3. Don't expect to keep track of all of the conversations if things start moving fast - like a cocktail party IRL there tend to be multiple overlapping threads.

4. If you get lost, feel free to start a new current in the stream of consciousness - throw out a question or comment or story, I promise SOMEONE will run with it!

5. Don't worry if you aren't there at the beginning - the last one ran for about 5 hours! Don't bother to read all of the comments - just skim over the last few and jump in.

We've done 3 or 4 of these now and they are a hoot!

Yea, I can finally have a drink!!!!! Yippee!!!

So, I haven't been to one yet, but I doubt I'll make this one. If the baby hasn't arrived yet, I'll be induced Friday, so I think we're going out for a fancy dinner for one last pre-baby date. On the plus side, I'll be able to drink for the next cocktail hour! Whoo hoo!!

Standard or Daylight time? You wrote EST. Although this sounds picky, there are still some places in the Eastern Time Zone that do not observe Daylight savings time.

I have given up alcohol in an effort to be less fat. But I will pour myself a big glass of Wyler's Sugar Free Fruit Punch and pretend it has rum in it.

I will be taking a tour of the hospital where Sprout is to be born. I'm sure afterwards, I will want a drink. If you guys are still around, I'll pop in.
