My son's school uses a kid-friendly search engine called nettrekker, but I think it's a subscription service.

We just connected N's computer to the internet today (previously it was for educational games only). I need some recommendations for kid friendly websites, besides disney, nick jr, pbs, and starfall.com, that will run well on a slow-ish computer that I can bookmark for him.
The rules for his use of said internet is that he's only allowed to go to sites that I've bookmarked or educational stuff for school with permission (he's only 6, so there will be heavy censorship for now) and if I catch him on other stuff he loses privileges.
