What's for dinner tonight?
Replies
I'm going to see my friend's band so probably beer.
I'm on my own for dinner tonight so I'll probably heat up something frozen or go to a drive through.
I never know what I'm going to cook until I step into the store's meat section each night and something speaks to me. I think fish is on the rotation, though.
How about spaghetti? Spaghetti's good and easy.
We're having leftover shrimp curry and eggplant with leftover roti chennai. I also may make some dhal to go with that. Who knows.
I will be baking banana bread or something this evening, though. We'll be off to WV to visit the family tomorrow and we'll need car snacks (it's an almost 8 hour drive, not counting stops).
I want a goddamn Wendy's Bacon Mushroom Melt.
Not available at thsi time :-(
Woookie, that sounds great. I made some ground beef and spinich the other night that I'll probably have again. Just throw in some pasta and some sauce (gravy for the Italians) and it's a meal. Plus, one of the little ones likes it.
Left overs for the husband. He loves them. Weirdo.
Grilled cheese and those spinach bites for El D.
Maybe soup. I have a good 'fake it don't make it' soup recipe its red beans, white beans, ckn broth, garlic, spinach, pasta, mushrooms, couple cans of tomatos, some spices (basil), and some bread for dipping... It's good.
GG your soup sounds really good. Do you use canned beans or dry?
Pizza and/or hot dogs at the snack shack at a little league game. So that doesn't help you much, Michael!
it's soooo easy & yummy... i use canned beans.
right now Kai really just picks at the beans so I'm still going to have to fix the grilled cheese. sigh.
shit i did it again.
Probably sandwiches of some kind...I really don't want to mess up the kitchen the night before we leave for vacation. Cleaning before you leave just sucks.
It's Mr. Shoes's turn for dinner tonight and he's craving chili dogs.
Last night, we had lasagna (frozen) and garlic bread.
I'm going to guess tacos, pork or vegi, for the adults and chicken strips and kiwi for the boy. I think that's all we have in the fridge.
Mr. Sadie is out of town, so I'll be eating something fun for the kids that is easy and quick to make. Though I'm thinking of finally getting back on the wagon and inviting a friend over for cocktails...which means I'll have to make dinner that is a little more presentable.
I don't know though. After Saturday night, I still don't think I could even look at a drink.
I have a rack of beef ribs in the crock pot. That'll be good and ready by the time I get home.
It may not help, but Shapiro's Delicatessen before our final birthing class.
I, once again, forgot to take anything out of the freezer to thaw, so I'm probably eating something from a can.
I was planning on a chicken stir fry over some brown rice. I was thinking I could throw a bunch of our garden veggies in there too
Alan: Wrong, it'll be beer and Vicodin. Again.
We're no help. It's Burger King night. Once a fortnight we do BK and cartoons.
Wolfgang Puck's recipe for roasted beet and goat cheese salad and vegetable lasagna. Probably take some of yesterday's whole grain baguette and turn it into garlic bread.
my mother in law is cooking...so I'll assume steaks. I married into a meat heavy family.
chicken tacos. we have some form of Mexican at least once a week.
So being the freakin awesome mom that I am, I just fed the kids a billion snacks so dinner will be something quick, kid fun, easy and late! Or maybe we'll just eat Skinny Cows and cookies. That's healthy, right?
We wound up with Pokemon Mac&Cheese and some salad. Yummy.
And all your answers were helpful, in some way. Hot dogs are another favorite around here, as are sloppy Joes.
