I'm soooooo very impressed with the people who have the new iPhone the DAY IT COMES OUT. Forget those silly people who wait a week or two and save some time. Or better yet, wait a month or two for the price to drop.

About the only thing I'd camp out for is free money. And there'd have to be a lot of it. Although I could see that scenario turning rather ugly...now that I think about it, no. I wouldn't even camp out for that.

I could see camping out to get Ana into a really good school, or maybe for excellent Bengals tickets (if we could afford them). I'm a weirdo, though, because unless the weather was really shitty, I think that camping out with a bunch of other people who are crazy for the same thing could be fun.

I camped out when I was 12 with my mother and best friend to get Michael Jackson tickets. At the time, totally worth it. However, I doubt I would do it for my kids, kind of sad.

Pretty much nothing. Heck, if the line is too long at the restaurant I want to go to I'll just go somewhere else. Also, I could never go on reality tv for anything. They'd ask me to bungee jump or eat lives roaches or something and I'd have to say no thanks.

I don't even wait in long lines for free stuff. I certainly wouldn't camp out to buy something. Most of the time, I can't even bring myself to take the time to go into a store. Thank you, internets.

Can't imagine camping out for a "thing" but like Kat I camped out 2 times to get a spot in the local rec-center summer day camp. The slots were limited, the price was about 1/4 of a private camp, and yeah, people did show up at like 4 am to get in line for a 9:00 door-opening. So I got there at about 6 just to be sure.

In college I camped out to get cheap tickets to see Rent. I had a friend who was a Rent fanatic, and she'd done this over twenty times. I only did it once. It was sort of fun, in a crazy sort of way, but I'm never going to do it again.

I camped for Harry Potter six, and my husband camped for me for seven. He camps at Best Buy or WalMart on Black Friday, although now that he will have to work at WalMart on Black Friday, I don't know what he'll do. Hmmm. I know that employees have been known to squirrel things away for themselves (especially clearance items. He just got five shirts for the boys at two bucks each), so I wonder if that's what they do on Black Friday.
