Macleans is a Canadian magazine, published weekly. They're typically decent journalisim. Apparently the charges come as a surprise to pretty much everyone, but there is a feeling of "well, anything's possible".

Personally, I feel sorry for the guy, if the charges are true it seems to be a pretty new problem for him. I hope he's either wrongfully accused or can get clean pretty quickly.

That was an interesting article. What surprised me the most was how supportive the girlfriend's husband was (BNL singer has hooked up with a woman he met on myspace, her husband is totally fine with it and only has nice things to say about either of them). Frankly, leaving your wife and kids for someone you meet on myspace weirds me out more than coke.

I was wondering about that, too. Perhaps it was supposed to say EX-husband? Otherwise... WEIRD.

I get the impression the girlfriends husband is the only one talking to the media ;-) It is nice that he has only nice or neutral things to say... it must have been a pretty amicable breakup.
