Following up on Andromeda's earlier post. Is anyone on offsprung on twitter (http://twitter.com)? I'm shreddd there as well - I'm curious to see if there are other OS parents that microblog.

I've considered it but haven't jumped in yet. What do you think of it?

twitter - it seems a bit weird at first. basically, you post messages semi-regularly (or not) in under 140 characters (hence the term "micro-blogging"). and you build a community of folks that do the same. the idea is that you have some kind of community hive chatter going on - like a cross between a blog and a message board. another way i've heard it described is as a "status aggregator" (like your facebook or gmail status).
