It is WAY to hot to try and do a gathering in Houston right now without renting an air conditioned venue. So here is my proposal.

Dates: October 4th and 5th
Locations:
10-4-08: Houston Zoo
10-5-08: Museum of Fine Art (The first Sunday of the month is Family day. Admission is free for all and they have tons of art projects and kid/family themed activities)

If everyone can managed to get a babysitter possibly an parent gathering Saturday night at some place with tasty drinks and good food.

Kiwi - it is on my calendar!

Kiwi - That'll be fun. I don't know about the babysitter thing...alas. I've been trying to find one as Mr Ellie and I haven't had grownup time in a LOOOOOOOONG time.

However, I depend on you and MNM to be my brain and remind me. Often. I'll write it down, and then the calendar or whatever I write it on will get up and walk out of my house. I've lost more phone numbers than I care to think about.

Depending on dissertation status we will try and make it.
