Offsprung Gathering: Houston Edition

Here is information for all of those who didn't get the Evite I emailed. Speaking of evite... those fuckers made me use html to format the information box on the invite (without HTML all you get is an endless block of unformatted text).

It's the first Houston Area OS gathering. We'll have two days of activities (Saturday, October 4th and Sunday, October 5th). Details are below. If you need anything just call me or email.

Day 1  (10-4-08): Houston Zoo

Time to meet up: 10:00a

Admission: $10 for people age 12-64

$6 for people aged 2-11

If you're under 2 it is free.

Discount tickets can be purchased at Fiesta Grocery stores for $8 (12-64) and $5 (2-12).  Admission to the Houston Zoo is free for active duty military personnel and their families (limit 8 persons per visit).A valid Military ID must be shown

Food:You can either bring your own lunch or buy food at the zoo. Their concession stands aren't totally unreasonable but we always just load up a cooler and bring in our own food/drinks.

Admission: Free (Compliments of Target)

Parking: is $3 in the Museum Garage.
