Hunker Day 2

Soooo Fay made land fall last night. We're thankful that so far it's been uneventful for the US (deaths in DR and Haiti). It weakened over night so when it made it's way to FL it was Tropical Storm (not a hurricane). We're very thankful. Today for us will be lots of wind and rain... My office gave the day off (think snow day) and I'm at home with El D. The Surfer was asked to come in help secure the school and surf store... So far so good! Just have cabin fever and it's only 8:30AM. Oh and keep your fingers crossed we don't lose power (for long)! That is the SUCKIEST part.

Surfer's gonna want to go surfing, isn't he? We left Corpus Christi with Dolly at our heels and DaddyWho looking wistfully at the building storm disappearing in our rear view mirror. Then he watched Big Wednesday when we got home.

Glad to hear y'all are dry - sorry about the cabin fever!

The waves must be tempting. We always went to the beach pre-storm to watch the waves. And yes there were people out there.

Seriously...I feel you on the cabin fever. It's been raining for three straight days here, and the cat keeps running through the house yowling if she even THINKS there's going to be thunder. It's very aggravating.

Especially since I'm having to re-potty train Ada.
