Nuns...calling our house after 10 PM.

You heard me...penguins.

Add that to the list of things I never thought I'd say.

Olympic-scale crapgasms are afoot for my husband at work (a public agency responsible for health services) and a nun is advocating on their behalf to the local governing body. She stood before this group of officials and did everything short of going after their knuckles with a ruler. Now my husband and the sister are rehashing the days events on the phone.

Nuns. Call my house. After 10. Who knew?

What's you who knew?

I like Yoo Hoo.

OK. It's supposed to be "What's YOUR who knew?" I blame it on too much Seuss.

At least the nuns aren't calling to rap your knuckles. Those would be some dedicated nuns.

Wh knew that 6 year olds can turn 3.

Who knew my son would pour out the water from his humidifier onto the wifi!

Oooohhh, Selena...ouch.

Who knew the Dragon would sleep better on a cot in front of the TV than in his own room with a teddy bear?

Who knew I'd be sad at the thought of leaving L.A.?

Who knew blow-drying a birthday cake would give it such a nice sheen?

Hm, nuns and I have a bad history lately.

blow-drying a birthday cake

Kathy, that's fucking hilarious.

Was she on a mission from God?

Who knew we'd have a large bald-faced hornet nest on a magnoilia tree branch about 10-15' from our front door and have no problems coexisting with the things this summer (touch wood)?

Er, magnolia.

Wierd. We had a nun come to our house at like 9:00 last night inviting us to Mass at one of the Catholic churches right around the corner. coincidence?

Who knew that my au pair didn't know that her key opens the lock on the door knob and the deadbolt and so would get stuck outside until 1:15 am when we finally heard the doorbell (1.5 hrs after she got home)?

Who knew that I thought husband showed her the secret key, but he really didn't? Damn language barriers! Poor girl.

who knew...I was filling my car with gas one morning at 6am when I was approached by some Jehovah's witnesses. Those guys sure do have a strong work ethic

Yeah- they're persistent, emmak.

They even prayed at my door for a minute after I slammed the door on them.

who knew i'd be out in my yard shaking my fists at the rednecks that insist on driving their trucks thru our flooded streets... sending the wake into our yards darn near our houses. Stupid rednecks.

Who knew a group of 15 grown-ups could spend 45 minutes to decide 1st graders should start eating 10 minutes earlier to get the 8th graders to class on time?
