DaD's knee
So DaD has had his knee operated on, leaving me to wait on him hand and foot, and chase around the Beenie while she crawls into every available corner and danger zone in the house. He can't drive, he can't carry things while walking (cos of the crutches) and he can't shower or dress without help, cos he can't get the bandages wet and he can't bend his knee. He's also in a lot of pain, Yay for Panadeine Forte, and experiencing bouts of nausea. Meantime i'm run off my feet doing the work of three people with the hands and patience of one. :(

believe me, i will.
and i did get that work done, in the nick of time - stayed up wed and thu nights typing until 3am or something - at which point Beenie woke up and wanted to get up and play. Sigh. Then of course she sleeps in all morning while DaD goes to work (in a taxi, cos while i promised i would drive him, turned out i was too knackered), but i get up anyway when DaD leaves and attempt to get things done. This past week i think has actually been harder than when we first brought Beenie home from hospital.
You soon will be LVL 9.
Damn you deserve a bump up to level 10 for this!
Hang in there lady.
BoL - if I lived anywhere near you guys, I'd lug my table to your place, crack my knuckles and get to work.
Luckily when AlphaGeek had similar knee surgery I was already a pro at handling the house and kids by myself...you will figure it out too.

Oy. Go easy on yourself. You won't get it all done. Trust me, I know.
Get yourself that massage as soon as he is in any way capable of baby-minding.
