$100 bucks.

48 cinderblocks, five yards of untreated white wool fabric, and an old oven rack. Pinky, are you thinking what I'm thinking?
What about transcripts? Can I buy transcripts I need for job applications?
If not, a massage.
mcglory - absoutely not! You may however, get a massage. I recommend a hot stone massage which I've never actually had, but which sounds amazing.
I would have my hair cut and get a massage. I could totally use some mommy-relaxation.
Today I would use it to buy two cases of Chimay. If I could afford that much. Then I would sit on my deck tonight and drink some while watching the Mets break my heart.
I'd spend on a sitter and hotel room for my husband and I.
I guess I'll go: I'd probably take the husband out to dinner at this French place we love. I'm drooling thinking about it
I'd get a hair cut and buy wine.
Definitely a massage. I can't do that to myself!
A hotel room all to myself in an undisclosed location.
And the hot stone massage IS amazing. In fact, that's the kind I'd get!
A fall coat that flatters my new breastfeeding physique. We're moving to a colder climate in a week and I'm afraid I won't be able to get any of my jackets zipped shut...
i'm with kathy- a secret hide-away, even if just for a night.
I'd go to lunch, a movie, and spend the rest in a bookstore.
Katy - I laughed. Sounds perfect to me! Or, better yet...can I send the husband and kid to a hotel and I get the house to myself?
A massage and a book.
Actually, I'd like to switch my answer to all books. Or just $100 bucks worth from my Amazon list
rommie - Pinky: I think so, but where will we find an open tattoo parlor at this time of night?
Spa day fur-sure with my $100. I'm getting some 7-11 feet lately.
Ooh, so tempting to change my answer to books. No, no, taking over the world it shall have to be.
Actually, I want to build a contained outdoor stove sort of thing to do natural dyeing over. It's been put off for ages, and I don't want to be dyeing inside over the stove without any ventilation. Then I need the fabric to dye so it's not just all yarn and roving.
Massage!
Two orders of pad thai with tofu, the rest on comics and DVDs to keep me occupied while I eat.
GG 7-11 feet. I laughed so hard I got tears in my eyes. I haven't heard that in FOREVER.
I'd be heading out to Bolt for some fine fabrics of greatness....I need to get my fabric fix soon!
What are 7-11 feet? I might have them and not know. That would be mortifying.
I'd buy a cute pair of Keen sneakers I saw on sale on nordstrom.com with half of it (once you add in shipping) and then a pedicure maybe. Or a running skirt, I saw some cute ones recently...
A bottle of Laphroaig 15-year old whisky and some good smoked salmon. Autumn is coming.
Am I allowed to use it to pay off the $100 worth of clothes I bought last week? Or does it not count because the clothes are technically for work?
Otherwise, I really don't know. Probably a massage or a nice pedicure at the fancy pants spa down the street.
I would proabbly spend it on meat and different BBQ rubs I want to try, and then I would spend some time cooking and eating.
Kiwi - :) I lost myself a bit this week...at work I said it to my boss about my feet. She just *blinked* at me and said you know you're not right. :)
Mommagrrl - busted. cracked. chipped nail polish and the alike.
Haven't you walked into a 7/11 and looked certain patrons bare feet in the store? *shudder*
I'd spend half at the bookstore and use the other half on fancy makeup or skincare products. I'm girly like that.
Since HD TVs are decidedly more expensive than $100, I think I'd buy myself some new clothes...since it's been about three years or so since I've bought some.
Mani/pedi for $70, the rest on desserts.
Molly Maid.
I'd have them come and clean my house. Yeah, I know...I'm dull as dirt but since I already drink too much, my husband is away on business and school starts next week I pretty much have everything I need.
Some cute naughty bits to take with us to Cancun next month...5 nights away from the kiddos, I need something fancy to wear.
I'd buy baskets to put all the books in my classroom into. I have heaps of books! They're everywhere and taking over!
If that's too work-y, I'd start a delicious cheese fund and every week I could buy delicious cheese. I think $100 worth of cheese all at once would be too too much.
I totally need a haircut -- went to Supercuts and now my semi-curly hair is in a fro. I look like I am receiving radio signals all my own. I have it pinned down with a barrett for work.
I'd save $50 for the next Keppra bottle, then I'd get Mercenaries 2 for the xbox 360.
Oh we did Keppra for awhile. That stuff's expensive.
I'd put it toward Guitar Hero III, to which I became addicted over my vacation!
Cheese! Cheese! Cheese! And two good bottles of wine, for one good evening with a couple of friends.
So Rommie and GG are off building a nice fort, huh?
I'd get the first thing that I saw that I wanted to buy right then and there, without thinking about it. I don't know what it is or what I'll use it for, but dangit, I'll want it right then.

So, I drive my husband MAD with questions like this, but: If someone gave you $100 right now to spend on yourself, what would you buy. Your bucks can not go towards: bills, savings, or anything responsible like that.
