Last Night in Chi-town
We're heading out tomorrow, once GirlWho gets out of school. I really liked it here, but I'm excited about Virginia now. But it seems Chicago is giving GirlWho and me a going-away present - beautiful big, fat snowflakes. We went downtown to go to the bookstore and walked in the snow. It was cold enough that the flakes didn't melt on us, so we looked like we were covered in magical confetti.
We only lived here for a short time, but it will be a cherished time for me. My first big city apartment. Obama's victory party downtown. The snow tonight.
And the food's pretty good, too. A girl could end up rather zaftig here.

I'm sorry that you have to leave Chicago but Virginia is a great state! We love here. If you ever want to make a day trip to Virginia beach we can have an OS beach party!

mamawho, I'm glad you had a nice last night in Chicago. It is a shame it didn't work out since you like it, but VA will bring bigger and better things, like an OS meet at your house, apparently!
