Totally. After that long looking at the same picture, I started picking out things that bothered me. Then all I could do was focus on those things when the pic was on screen. I didn't care what it was replaced with - two more people kissing - woman/woman, man/man, man/woman, man/goat - whatever - or some other scenario. Just as long as it was something different.

See, I really was obsessing about that one woman's highlights. They were so perfect. So many shades of blonde mixing in. Her hair must have cost a fortune and taken forever.

Also, am glad they're gone. My experience as a parent seems so much less centered around sex than Motherhoodlum. It makes me feel like the crazy "fly over country" people complaining about the weird-o's in Hollywood. :)

And yeah, I'm really really happy the hot blond chicks are gone. I share an office with three dudes and I got tired of having to hide my browser window every one of them walked past. Not that I should be any less embarrassed, really, to be seen chit chatting with you folks instead of working.

atomic- seriously, i have huge nursing hunger too! it just started a couple of weeks ago. i want ice cream all day long. not even my pregnancy cravings were this bad.

[thread hijack] Every time she has a growth spurt, it just gets worse too. I laugh now when I think about the bit in "What To Expect..." where it tells you you'll burn an extra 500 calories a day while nursing and thus will lose the baby weight more quickly. Because what they fail to mention is that you're also compelled to eat your weight in cream cheese, peanut butter, and baked goods on a daily basis.

Jumping into the nursing conversation that 500 calories/losing weight thing is crap. Doesn't it assume that you will be eating 500 calories less and why would that be? I'm starving all the time. I eat in the middle of the night (but then, the kid eats in the middle of the night so why wouldn't I eat then, too).

And then there's the issue that it's really damn difficult to eat that many calories healthily. I mean, if I usually need 2000 calories (ok, i have absolutely no idea), but only eat 1800 of them in a healthy way, clearly i'm going to have difficulty make 2500 calories healthy.

As for specific cravings, mostly just ice cream...

i think the ice cream thing is a fat and calcium thing. i mean, i like ice cream usually, but not this much, and other stuff that normally i love, like french fries, i'm not craving at all.

I'm glad they're finally gone, too, because it seemed I was looking at porn, not a parenting site at work. I'd hate to have to explain that to my all male co-workers!

In general, I wish the Motherhoodlum was on the columns page and not the playground - its a nice draw for folks passing through who might stop and see what else is around but the folks who are here regularly don't really need to see the screen everyday when the episodes only show up once a month.

i like the new picture far better than the last one. I only watched a couple of episodes though - i am personally not very interested in girls getting it on. (Women bitching, on the other hand, i find very interesting... ;)

Are there other chicks besides the blonds getting it on? They kind of just look boring. And porny.

I gotta say I usually watch Motherhoodlum, and the bitching Jews totally enticed me to watch but the kissing blonds didn't pique my interest in the least. I figured it would be a lame unrealistic attempt at being racy - yes, I judged that book by its cover, bite me if you don't like it.

Ha! I thought I was the only one. Can't put my finger on why that photo was irritating to me. I like to consider myself a pro-sex non-pearl-clutching mama. Maybe it just seemed a little contrived. Besides, the brunette on the swing is way cuter, IMO.

floor pie, the contrivance factor was what bugged me about it. It felt like the girls who make out in bars to get male attention, the "look at me girls" as one friend of mine called them.

The picture stayed up too long, but that was because we had some loading trouble with this last episode...now it's gone and you can all go back to your regularly scheduled lives.
