Dropping off of the radar
We're going to be flying over to SoCal in a few days for vacation (first since 2006), possibly our last visit to my grandmother. Before that, I have business in NYC. I'll be offline for the better part of the next few weeks (I promised not to tether my cell to my computer for anything other than necessary work, and my grandmother's house in Arcadia, CA doesn't have internet access). Have fun all! I'll look forward to seeing what's transpired while I'm away.

Ditto what DGB said - I missed out being able to see my grandmother before she passed. I sometimes still forget she isn't around.
And also enjoy time away from the brightly lit screen!
