I think sharing the bathroom might be a huge drawback to this issue. Just imagine what the shower would look like when they are done. And I'm sure apes aren't the best at cleaning out the drain.

You know, it was actually pretty common back when humans first split off from apes. There was a theory that hybrids were all sterile, but that's not actually the case, they're just frequently sterile. But they think that any resulting babies failed to mate, or the lines died off. So while it's a problem for us now, it wasn't back in the day.

Personally, I'd prefer not to pick nits off my date and I do find intelligent conversation sexy- and I don't know sign language.

As a male pig, I could see the benefits of a female ape companion. Although, my wife does not fling poo at me when she is angry....well, maybe a dirty diaper, but at least the poo doesn't usually hit me square on.
